I am a 3rd Generation Stocktonian and have practiced law here for over 28 years. My career experience provided me with an understanding of the problems faced by ordinary citizens and small business when confronted with government regulations. With this experience I can quickly grasp the torrent of issues presented to the City Council and be instrumental in finding solutions.

Like me, my children and grandchildren have grown up here. I know the excitement of Saturday soccer games and the worry of having teenagers out on Friday night. I understand that Stocktonians want a safe place to work, live and bring up their children. So do I. Together we can make it possible.

My Vision is for a vibrant city, free of crime, where our childen can get a good education, and our citizens can find jobs that pay reasonable wages so that they can live where they work.

I have the experience, integrity and courage to transform this vision into reality. My years as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Law at Humphreys College, Commissioner on the San Joaquin County Planning Commission, Board Member of Habitat for Humanity and the Downtown Stockton Alliance, and as a Vista Volunteer have provided me with unique insight into our city and what's needed to make it great.

Stockton has great things going for it: the Port of Stockton, the Haggin Museum, four colleges and universities, and the Delta, just to name a few. But, our greatest resource is our people-owing to our rich and varied cultural backgrounds. By working together, and being enthusiastic about what we can accomplish we'll make Stockton a vibrant and exciting place to live, work and play.
